Michael (“Mike”) Rouse is an internationally recognised leader in pharmacy education, accreditation, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and practice advancement, with more than four decades of experience across professional practice, academia, quality assurance, and international collaboration.

His career spans hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy leadership, accreditation system development, professional association management, and global consultancy.

He is recognised internationally for helping shape contemporary approaches to pharmacy education quality, lifelong professional development, and practice transformation.

Michael is the Founder & Managing Director of Global Pharmacy Solutions (GPS), an international consultancy supporting organisations in accreditation and quality advancement, strategic change management and academic programs enhancement, CPD systems, and pharmacy practice transformation.

His work has contribution to:

Development of international accreditation and quality assurance frameworks and standards used by universities, regulatory authorities, and accreditation bodies worldwide.

Introduction and implementation of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) models across multiple countries and healthcare systems.
